The situation of Land Rover worries Europe (and the world), its factories are stopped and the losses are astronomical
Bad times are running in Jaguar Land Rover. If the feline brand didn't have enough with not selling a single model for months, now a security failure in its servers, with the consequent data leak, is causing brutal losses. A disaster very difficult to recover from.

Not only are bad times running within Jaguar and Land Rover, but the circumstances are getting worse every day. The feline hasn't manufactured cars since late last spring, as it is undergoing a significant transformation and, of course, they have ensured that the common people can get a Jaguar in the future.
The first model of the new Jaguar is being developed, but its high price leaves it out of the volume market, so seeing black numbers in Jaguar will be very complicated. On the other hand, Land Rover does sell cars but hasn't manufactured them for about ten days. What's the problem? The brand decided to stop production due to a powerful cyber attack in which hackers have obtained very sensitive information.

The factories of Jaguar Land Rover are stopped
The scope is very extensive, although it is not known if it only affects customer databases or also those of suppliers. The fact is that all production IT systems and the configuration of new models, as well as sales, have been blocked. All activity is blocked and not only in the United Kingdom, but throughout the European continent.
It is clear that, with the three British plants of Solihull, Halewood, and Wolverhampton closed, plus those in Slovakia and India, the disaster is terrible, as the manufacturer itself has indicated that the thousand cars it usually manufactures per day have been lost.

British sources point out that the situation is becoming critical, and that the losses are already estimated at 1.17 billion euros. Brutal figures that they don't know how to stop, nor do they confirm when they will have their systems restored.
For now, the brand is investigating, but one of the members of the groups that participated in the attack has confirmed that they accessed customer data from both manufacturers, penetrating through a vulnerability in a software application used by the British. In fact, it is said that a North American security agency already warned about this at the beginning of the year, but it is unknown whether Jaguar and Land Rover took measures or not.
