The new KIA K4 now has prices, cheaper than the Ceed and ready to take on the Golf
KIA is thriving with its electric cars, but it is determined to reign in the compact segment with the replacement of the Ceed. The South Korean brand has begun the launch of the new KIA K4 in the European continent, and with a great selling point that is not precisely its overwhelming design or equipment.

Few thought that KIA was going to succeed with one of its electric cars. In just a few months, the second brand of the Hyundai giant has shown that zero-emission models are an interesting option for small families, but there are many others that will find in the new K4 what they have been waiting for a long time.
The Koreans have gotten rid of the Ceed, the compact that was born as a response to the mighty Golf and has matured over time, but not enough to harm the German. However, that trend may change in the coming months when the first examples of the striking and suggestive KIA K4 start to populate European roads with its significant arguments.

The new KIA K4 will surprise the Golf... and all compacts
Because the new KIA K4 has enough qualities to crush much of the competition, and not just because its style is more than revolutionary. The Koreans have taken advantage of the striking design of their electric cars to transfer it to combustion models, standing out for the LED headlights arranged in a "T" shape, the retractable door handles, or its spaciousness.
Its dimensions indicate that this KIA K4 is not small at all, and that it surpasses its predecessor with its 4,440 millimeters in length and its trunk of 438 liters, which rises to 1,217 liters with the rear seats folded down.
In addition, it comes with a complete standard equipment that, from the most basic level, already includes three digital screens -12.3 inches for instrumentation and multimedia system, and 5.3 inches for the climate control- as well as the following components:
- Emergency braking (included at intersections)
- Highway driving assistant
- Adaptive cruise control with Stop & Go function
- Blind spot monitoring
- Rear cross-traffic braking assistant
- 360° camera system
- Full LED headlights
- Smart Key keyless entry system
- Wireless connectivity with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto
- Kia Connect connected services
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Dual-zone automatic climate control
- 16-inch alloy wheels
Equipment and technology, the strong point of the new KIA K4
Higher equipment levels, such as the GT-Line, will feature a Harman Kardon sound system, the AI voice assistant "Hey Kia" and the digital key 2.0.
