The brand has just unveiled this revitalized urban car that left the market almost two years ago, first due to issues with some safety equipment, easily solvable, but which the brand preferred to overlook to push an electric 500 that has never achieved the success that was expected of it.
With the production of this small electric car halted, those in Turin are closer to returning to a market segment that, since the launch of the modern 500, they have dominated with an iron fist, despite minimal improvements implemented over two decades. A commercial life that will now change completely, because this is the most powerful morale injection to date.
The new 500 Hybrid Torino debuts this autumn
The new 500 Hybrid Torino, a name that distinguishes it from the electric version, features the same design as this one, with more elliptical and split headlights, also sharing the same style of the grille, limited to a thin strip and a perforated area in the front bumper. The rear has been carried over exactly from the zero-emission model.
Inside, the new member of the 500 family not only boasts style but also technology. The digital instrument panel is located under the classic dome, which is painted in the same color as the bodywork, like the top of the dashboard. Above it is a 10.25-inch customizable digital and touchscreen display, also featuring a complete standard equipment package with the following elements that will be standard or optional:

- Light and rain sensors

- Wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto connectivity

For now, FIAT has announced only two new colors for the bodywork, a striking "Gold Yellow" and an elegant "Ocean Green", which we know will join the paint palette inherited from the electric version, as well as the new model being distinguished by a badge with the name of the city where this car is manufactured -Turin- and the "Mole Antonelliana" tower, which is a symbol of the city.
Affordable price for the new hybrid 500, ready to conquer
Under the small hood of this new FIAT 500 Hybrid Torino lies a familiar face in the manufacturer's engine lineup: the three-cylinder 1.0-liter FireFly, which features a 12-Volt MHEV system, with a maximum power output of 65 HP and yes, of course, as it should be, it is paired with a six-speed manual transmission.
FIAT has confirmed that the official launch of the new 500 Hybrid is scheduled for November in all European countries, with deliveries expected in February 2026, and with a price below 17,000 euros. It is clear that FIAT is going all out, it couldn't be any other way.
