The first electric Ferrari caught during the testing phase debuting camouflage
Ferrari continues to work on the development process of its first 100% electric vehicle. Internally known as F244, the first electric Ferrari has been caught during the testing phase showcasing significant updates in camouflage that suggest the project is progressing.

The development process of the first electric Ferrari is moving forward. The legendary and mythical Italian supercar brand has delayed its entry into the electric vehicle market for as long as possible. However, seeing the latest moves made by the competition, the company of the "Cavallino Rampante" has had no choice but to get to work.
It has long been known, as the brand itself announced, that sooner or later we will see an electric Ferrari in dealerships. The sighting of a test mule more than a year ago confirmed the reports circulating online. In the summer of 2024, test mules of the future electric Ferrari based on a Maserati Levante began to be seen. Time has passed, and the development has completed various phases. Until now, when this project is back in the news.

Spy photos of the new Ferrari Elletrica
The Ferrari F244, the internal code name for this electric vehicle, has been spotted at the "headquarters" of Ferrari. Our spy photographers have caught a new test unit of this future model in broad daylight. It presents significant updates in camouflage. A camouflage with which the brand is trying by all means to prevent the design, or rather the shapes that the vehicle will adopt, from being discovered.
If the latest information is correct, this model will be named Ferrari Elletrica and will offer a level of practicality similar to that of the Ferrari Purosangue. It will be a five-door vehicle with a certain SUV flair combined with the line of a coupe designed by the Italian company. The result will be a sports car that is both elegant and sporty. It will be based, as is logical, on Ferrari's new design philosophy.
For now, we still cannot take a look at the interior, although we must again take the Purosangue as a reference, as well as the latest launches from the brand. It will be equipped with the latest advancements from Ferrari in terms of connectivity, safety, and comfort. Being a five-door vehicle, it will have a more family-oriented and daily car approach.

The electric Ferrari of half a million euros
All eyes will be on the electric propulsion system. A powertrain that will deliver an approximate power of 1,500 HP. Equipped with a next-generation lithium-ion battery, the first electric Ferrari is expected to have a range of over 600 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle.
When will it hit the market? Ferrari's original plan was to present the new Elletra in the spring of 2026, with the first deliveries to customers taking place before the end of next year. However, we cannot overlook these recent reports that indicate a delay and, more specifically, to 2028 as the year of its launch. The price will be prohibitive as it is expected to be half a million euros.
