MG warns that we are facing the most economical HEV hybrid in its category. The Hybrid+ technology arrives in the HS range to expand the mechanical offer and, above all, provide an ECO option to buyers. If we take a look under the hood, we will find a 1.5-liter gasoline engine with 143 HP (105 kW). It is accompanied by a powerful 146 kW electric motor (199 HP). The total combined power is 225 HP.
Thanks to a 1.8 kWh water-cooled battery, the hybrid HS can drive in electric mode in certain situations and for a specific period of time. It is managed through a two-speed automatic transmission and a front-wheel drive system. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.9 seconds.
It homologates an average fuel consumption of 5.5 liters per 100 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle. The range exceeds 1,000 km. It is also worth noting that, being a hybrid car, it displays the ECO environmental label from the DGT with the mobility advantages that this entails.
