It's not an engine or a spoiler, this is the new (and very expensive) Porsche 911 GT3
The Porsche 911 GT3 is one of the most desired sports cars on the market. An icon that has been recently revised, and is now much more sporty thanks to the work of Manthey Racing. They have developed the package that turns it into the ultimate beast.

It is one of the best-selling versions of the Porsche 911, and one of the most desired among fans of the model and the German brand. The image of the 911 GT3 matches the high performance it offers, with over 500 hp of power, but it stands out not only for that, but for its spectacular dynamic behavior.
The last revision that the 911 GT3 underwent was a year ago, debuting important new features never seen in this version, which was waiting for the tweaks made by a competition specialist from the German house, such as those from Manthey Racing. We saw them last spring testing their new features at the Nürburgring circuit, and they have just been presented. Well, in singular, one, but some impressive forged alloy wheels.

The Porsche 911 GT3 debuts new features from Manthey Racing
Although they are only six kilos lighter than the stock wheels of the 911 GT3, they not only help reduce the weight of the unsprung masses, but are designed to offer up to 20% more stiffness per axle, making the suspension response faster while improving the control of the sports car.
As good forged wheels, they feature an elegant design with multiple spokes painted in silver and, of course, have a single central locking nut. Certified by Porsche, and covered by the manufacturer's official warranty, they are mounted with different sizes depending on the axle: 20 inches in front with tires of 255/35 ZR20 and 21 inches in the rear with tires of size 315/30 ZR21, and you can choose them finished in bright silver, neodymium gray, or black.
Manthey Racing is synonymous with wild prices
The truth is that these wheels are the only novelty that the sports firm has proposed for the 911 GT3, highlighting that they are not just any wheels because they are made of magnesium. But, the truth is that, although it is a detail to highlight, it does not stand out as much as the price, because this whim costs no less than 15,000 euros. For all four, of course.
It is the price of a high-performance product for the new 911 GT3, and also the prelude to many other novelties that the competition division is preparing and that will arrive in the Porsche model range. Among the confirmed ones, the additional package for the facelift of the 911 GT3 RS, new features also for the more tamed GT3 Touring, and some more brutal ones for the future GT2 RS, which has not yet arrived but Manthey is already working on its own.
