Mitsubishi reveals the first prices of the new electric Eclipse Cross in Europe
Officially presented a week ago, the new 100% electric Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross has been showcased at the Lyon Motor Show, where the Japanese brand revealed the first prices for the local French market.

The new generation Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross burst onto the scene just a few days ago in Brussels, where it was introduced as a new electric compact SUV that had nothing to do with its predecessor. It was also the first electric SUV in the history of the Japanese brand and the first since the small i-MiEV that we got to know some time ago.
The new Eclipse Cross now benefits from the close relationship that Mitsubishi and Renault maintain today. In fact, it is built on the same CMF-EV platform as the latest Scénic E-Tech.
However, in favor of the Japanese SUV, it offers a clearly differentiating exterior aesthetic compared to its French cousin. It has just unveiled its first prices for one of the most important European markets, France. The first units will not be produced, however, until the last quarter of this year, precisely in France, so we won't see them on the roads until the beginning of 2026.

Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross, first details of equipment and prices
Mitsubishi has revealed several interesting details about the range of its new Eclipse Cross for the French market. While in Spain it will be structured in two trims, Kaiteki and Kaiteki+, in the neighboring country three different trims have been announced.
In the initial trim, called “INVITE+”, features such as 19-inch alloy wheels, a heated steering wheel, a 9-inch multimedia touchscreen, and Google navigation integration with route planner stand out.
In the intermediate trim, the “INTENSE”, the hands-free electric tailgate, Multi-Sense driving modes, a large 12.3-inch display, paddle shifters with regenerative braking, and automatic high beams are added.
Finally, the “INSTYLE” trim already includes 20-inch alloy wheels, an electrochromatic panoramic roof, 360-degree cameras, automatic emergency braking in reverse, TEP upholstery, electric front seats, and a premium Harman Kardon sound system.
Prices of the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross in France

The mechanics of the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross
The range of the new Japanese electric SUV will arrive with a single available battery of 87 kWh that, pending final data, should provide more than 600 kilometers of electric range. The electric motor develops 220 hp and 300 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 170 km/h.
The battery can be charged up to 22 kW in alternating current and up to 150 kW in direct current. It has a water-cooled thermal management system, heat pump, and PTC heater.
Next year, a more affordable option should arrive, both in price and performance. As a reference, in the Scénic E-Tech, the small 60 kWh battery comes with a power of 170 hp and a range of about 430 kilometers.
With five years of warranty plus three additional years, the new Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross in France arrives with a price 2,000 euros below its Renault cousin, which in the French market starts at 46,990 euros with the large battery option. We will see what happens in Spain, where the Scénic E-Tech starts below 40,000 euros with the 60 kWh battery and a similar price for the large one, not counting discounts, promotions, or aids.
