Xpeng launches the improved G6 and G9 with new batteries and more technology, here are their prices
Xpeng has officially started the marketing of the improved electric SUVs G6 and G9 in Spain. Both models feature next-generation LFP batteries, a redesigned interior, and expanded technological equipment. The new Xpeng G6 and Xpeng G9 already have prices.
Everything is ready for the improved electric Xpeng to make its move into Spanish dealerships. The Xpeng G6, and its "big brother", the Xpeng G9, have undergone a series of improvements to boost their sales figures in a market where they are already performing well. The G6 has become an unexpected and significant competitor to established models like the Tesla Model Y.
Xpeng has made significant adjustments in key areas such as the electric propulsion system and technological equipment. The new Xpeng G6 and G9 already have prices in Spain. And if everything goes as planned, the first units will be available in our market before the end of September.
New batteries for the Xpeng G6 and Xpeng G9 2026
The brand is already accepting orders for its improved electric SUVs. The main novelty of this update is, fundamentally, the new next-generation LFP batteries equipped in all versions of both models. They not only offer a longer lifespan but also stand out for superior efficiency and sustainability.
The new Xpeng G6 2026, in its more capable version, now claims a range of 535 kilometers according to the WLTP cycle. This figure increases to 698 km when considering the urban WLTP cycle respectively. As for the new Xpeng G9 2026, it now reaches a WLTP range of 585 km (756 km of urban WLTP range).
The new G6 and G9 are equipped with an 800-volt architecture, enabling ultra-fast charging. In the specific case of the G9, it supports a maximum charging power of 525 kW. This figure for the G6 is 451 kW. Thanks to this capability, it is possible to complete the charging process from 10% to 80% in just 12 minutes.

New interior and exterior colors have also been added. Additionally, there are Black Edition versions that include wheels, logos, and bodywork in Midnight Black color for an extra touch of exclusivity.
Xpeng has confirmed that the new G6 will launch an entry-level version at the beginning of 2026 that will significantly reduce the starting price. It is the RWD Standard Range model.
So far this year 2025, from January to September, the G6 is by far the best-selling model of the Xpeng brand in Spain. It has accumulated a total of 288 registered units. A considerable distance behind, the second most popular model of the brand in Spanish territory is the G9 with 63 registrations respectively.
