The new Musso 2026 shows its face, this is how KGM wants to change the image of the pick-up
The era of pick-ups continues to rise. A market category, filled with enthusiasts, that will soon have a significant competitor with a variety of mechanics. This is the innovative KGM Musso 2026, which has already announced its anticipated debut with a couple of interesting previews.
KGM wants to be one of the Korean brands that gets talked about. The heir of SsangYong is following the same line as it, presenting more than interesting proposals. A range that is gradually increasing, and to which new, more efficient versions of the Torres have recently been added, announcing the launch of one of the most awaited models of the brand.
The new Torres Actyon is ready to make history among the D-segment SUVs, standing out for its modern and sportier style, with a suggestive silhouette featuring a more sloped rear roof section. The format typical of modern coupes that boast design, as will the owners of the new generation of the KGM Musso that has just announced its arrival.

The brand has presented a couple of official previews, with a teaser of the front that practically has nothing to do with the Musso already in the catalog and is completely electric. The manufacturer's big bet for the light commercial vehicle category, and it is clear that it does not shy away from showcasing an elegant, robust design with more futuristic details.
We do not know what the source of inspiration has been for the designers of this new KGM Musso, but if we mention the new KIA Tasman, we won't be far off. The daytime running lights and the vertically arranged headlights have a very close resemblance to this rival from the same country, while the grille features five slots like the seven typical of Jeep.
The side has been revealed in the video above, and it is clear that it will feature a double cab and a large cargo bed, larger than that of the electric Musso, topped with a front cover with the brand name engraved on the sheet metal. The interior has not been seen, but judging by these teasers, it is clear that the more professional look has been set aside, opting for technology and an exceptional level of comfort.
KGM has not set a date for the presentation of this new installment of the Musso, nor has it revealed anything about its engines, but if it wants it to be a winner, it is obliged to offer, at a minimum, a diesel. Perhaps the four-cylinder 2.2-liter block will be one of them, but it is certain that the brand will also offer a hybrid. We will see it first in South Korea, possibly in just a few weeks, and in 2026 in Europe.
