It has finally come true. Lexus has announced the launch of a special edition of its most luxurious model, an LS that leaves the global market after nearly 40 years making it difficult for the Mercedes S-Class and BMW 7 Series. A life that ends with the LS 500 Heritage Edition.
2025 started with important news for Lexus in the European continent. The Japanese firm had decided to remove the powerful and sophisticated LS from its catalog for this region of the world, a flagship that has benefited from continuous improvements and facelifts, generation after generation, but has not been able to take as many customers as thought from the German equivalents.

The Lexus LS Heritage Edition bids farewell to the Japanese flagship
The Lexus LS 500 Heritage Edition ends a nearly 36-year run worldwide, with 250 units all destined for the United States, bathed in an elegant metallic black paint, as well as the decorative trims, only broken by the contrast provided by the metallic gray of the 20-inch alloy wheels with a twenty-spoke design.
An elegant design outside and also inside, with the cabin entirely lined in Rioja red. The dashboard features two digital screens, the 12.3-inch multimedia system, touch-operated and from which the navigation system with connected Google services is managed. The connectivity equipment also includes a smartphone screen mirroring function and the ability to connect up to five devices via Bluetooth.
The interior decoration has been left to details in black wood, and the headrests feature an embroidery of the silhouette of the Lexus LS, as well as an engraving with the same motif.

The all-wheel drive system, with a Torsen differential, takes care of digesting the flow of power and force, preventing wheel slip thanks to its six driving modes.
