The Hyundai IONIQ 5 N 2026 Receives Updates, One You Can't Imagine and It's a Powerful Anti-Stress Weapon
A few months after launching the revised IONIQ 5 N, Hyundai encountered a problem with the electric sports car. An update had caused significant failures in other functionalities, which have now been resolved, and improvements have been introduced for the 2026 model.

They were proud at Hyundai when just under a year ago they presented a significant update on their first electric car. The aesthetic improvements were minimal, but the bulk was concentrated beneath the bodywork, largely the result of feedback that the South Korean brand had obtained from a few customers who had decided to trust their passion for sportiness in an electric car.
A series of important updates that not only aimed to improve one of the most brutal electric cars of the moment but also to solve what has been challenging for the manufacturer. It is hard to believe how it is possible that it sells worse than a Macan when it offers as much as the German. But not everything goes as planned, because the improvements introduced in the facelift soon became noticeable, but from the more negative side.

The Hyundai IONIQ 5 N is now a more practical beast
An update in the software of the more powerful Hyundai IONIQ 5 caused interference in other functions, driving the control system crazy. This has now been resolved, and other equipment has been introduced. For example, the Matrix LED headlights are now standard, and the rear seatbacks can now be folded down, increasing practicality.
The safety equipment has been enhanced with intelligent traffic sign recognition, issuing an acoustic warning with four beeps, which can be turned off. The light indicators, however, continue to be displayed on the digital instrument panel. Important updates, but not as significant as the new function "N Drift Optimizer PRO".
The Star Equipment of the Hyundai IONIQ 5 N 2026
This is a drift assist, adjustable in ten levels, which not only enhances dynamism but also offers greater precision and control, allowing configuration of the drift initiation, angle, and wheel slip.
The IONIQ 5 N is an electric supercar, with two motors and a maximum power of no less than 650 HP, providing all-wheel drive. The updates only complete a model that is already outstanding, despite its less impressive maximum range of just under 450 kilometers. However, in Germany, for now, these updates have not increased the price, which remains at 74,900 euros.
