Concept Car

The concept cars, also known as concept models, are one of the main attractions of each auto show. Created by manufacturers, they are used to showcase to the public the future projects that the company will be working on or to demonstrate their advancements in a certain field. They are often used to preview a new model that will hit the market soon or to reveal a new design language.

Since manufacturers can bypass the "restrictions" of design that production cars have, it is common for concept cars to lack conventional rearview mirrors (instead, they are replaced by cameras and digital screens) or interiors typical of cars that will be on the roads in the coming decades. Areas such as connectivity, autonomous driving, or electrification are very present in most concept models.
