Setting aside the exterior, if we delve into the interior of the new Civic, we will quickly find ourselves enveloped in the atmosphere of a premium automobile. All versions of the improved Japanese compact feature a new black ceiling and pillars, while the air vent trims have a matte chrome finish to enhance sophistication.
The Advance version now includes the interior lighting system and ambient lights in the footwell, while the Sport trim debuts a new heated steering wheel. Another notable feature is the 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, which now has clearer graphics and, therefore, better visibility to facilitate reading information. The equipment of the Elegance version has been improved with a wireless charger located in the center console.
Regardless of the trim level, all versions of the new Civic are equipped with an advanced package of driver assistance systems. The Honda SENSING package. And by the way, a function that was previously standard in the Sport and Advance versions now comes to the entry-level Elegance trim. It is the automatic dimming in the interior rearview mirror.

Regarding the mechanical section, there are no changes. The improved Civic is powered by a self-recharging hybrid system (HEV). A powertrain consisting of a 2.0-liter four-cylinder gasoline engine and two electric motors (one propulsion). It delivers a total power of 184 HP and 315 Nm of maximum torque. It is managed through an automatic e-CVT transmission and a front-wheel drive system.
It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.8 seconds. Thanks to a lithium-ion battery, the Civic can drive in fully electric mode in certain situations and for a specific period of time. As a hybrid car, it displays the ECO environmental label from the DGT with the mobility advantages that this entails.
